Every track I make starts in silence—the kind that feels heavy, almost sentient. It’s never just about making something that sounds good. It’s about capturing a feeling that doesn’t have words yet, then slowly giving it shape through sound.
1. The Spark: Mood First, Music Second
I don’t usually start with chords or lyrics. I start with atmosphere.
What emotion am I chasing?
What scene do I see when I close my eyes?
Sometimes it’s fire rising from stone. Sometimes it’s just a breath held too long. From there, I build out textures—using ambient pads, distorted samples, or analog noise—to ground the emotion before I even touch a melody.
2. Writing from the Shadows
My lyrics aren’t polished poetry. They’re truth fragments. I write from lived moments, quiet breakdowns, and flashes of clarity.
If a line feels too neat, I let it break. I want raw. I want real.
I use a mix of voice memos, scribbled notes, and even AI tools to bounce ideas off myself and reframe phrases until they hit hard without trying too hard.
3. Building the Beat
Once I have a mood and some lyrical DNA, I bring in the beat—usually minimal but intentional. I blend hip-hop-inspired drums with subtle cinematic flair. It’s not about complexity—it’s about space. The kind of space where the listener can sit inside the song and feel something heavy move.
4. Sound Design & Layers
This is where I sculpt. I layer synths, tweak reverb tails, reverse samples, and blend unexpected elements (like a cello run through a distortion pedal). I don’t follow formulas. I follow instinct—and the vibe never lies.
5. The Mix: Balancing Fire and Smoke
Mixing isn’t just technical—it’s emotional. I’m carving out the exact space where the track breathes and bleeds. I push the flames (vocals, lead instruments) forward, while letting the smoke (reverb, ambience, textures) swirl around them.
I want you to feel like you’re walking into a soundscape, not just listening to one.

6. Final Touches & Release
I usually sit with a track for a few days. Then I revisit it with fresh ears. If it still makes my chest feel heavy, it’s ready. I finalize the mix, master it (or send it to someone I trust), and prepare the artwork—which always reflects the sound’s story.
From there, it’s uploaded, shared, and let loose into the world…
A piece of the truth I’ve been chasing, finally released.
